Coagh is off to Windsor
Coagh have waited 27 years for the plum draw away to Linfield but they had to work hard against a very well drilled Newbuildings side who started their Irish Cup Journey away back in September. Coagh started the match well and took the lead after 15minutes, Jason Gillespie supplies the cross for Steven Park to slot home wide of the keeper. From the restart Newbuildings replied with a sizzling move which saw Rickey Lee Dougherty slide the ball past Yorke for the equaliser. Both sides huff and puffed in front of goal before Jason Gillespie headed home Coaghs second. An corner kick and a header from Gillespie saw Coagh take in a 2-1 advantage at half time. Both sides had chances in the second half but when Aaron Campbell broke clear it was all but over when his shot was deflected into the net by Newbuildings Steven Wallace. Near the end Coagh secured their path to Windsor after Gillespie converted his second from the spot
